1. Collection, processing and use of personal data

When you visit this website, we do not collect any personal data from you. Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us yourself using our contact form. This data will only be used to answer your request and will then be deleted again.

 

2. Use of our own cookies

When certain pages are accessed, a so-called "session cookie" is set. This is a small text file that is automatically deleted from your computer at the end of the browser session. 3. Server log files

As with every connection to a web server, the server of our blogging platform Ghost from the Ghost Foundation logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and the operating system of your device, the data, the access time, the type of browser and the browser request including the origin of the request (referrer). This is necessary for technical reasons in order to make our website available to you. The blogging platform uses technical and organizational measures to protect this data from unauthorized access and does not pass it on to third parties. Insofar as we process personal data, we do this on the basis of our interest in offering you the best possible user experience and ensuring the security and stability of our systems.

 

4. Newsletter "Blog Updates"

If you have registered for our newsletter "Blog Updates" with your e-mail address, we will save and use your e-mail address for sending our newsletter with information about us until you have unsubscribed from our newsletter. For our newsletter service, we use the “Mailchimp” newsletter service from Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000 Atlanta, GA 30308. If you enter your e-mail address to receive the newsletter, it will first be saved by MailChimp for the purpose of sending the owner an e-mail in which he / she can confirm the subscription to the newsletter («double opt -In"). After such a confirmation, the email address will be stored permanently with MailChimp until you have unsubscribed from receiving the newsletter or we have deleted it. MailChimp saves the date of registration and the IP address under which the registration took place. Your IP address will not be used any further. We would like to point out that the data that is collected and used via MailChimp is stored and processed on computers in the USA. With your consent to receive our newsletter, you hereby consent. In addition, we have concluded a data processing contract with MailChimp based on the so-called EU standard contractual clauses. Your e-mail address will not be passed on to third parties in any other way. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. An unsubscribe link is included in every email with our newsletter. 5. Donate

We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the donation process and in the context of cookies, the IP data of the subscriber is stored, as well as the name, address and means of payment of the donor. In addition, the following data is also stored by us: (please add data). The data you provide are required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. There is no data transfer to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of the credit card data to the processing bank / payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the donation amount and to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations. After the donation process is canceled, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the case of donation processing, all data from the donation will be stored until the tax retention period (10 years) has expired. The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are also stored until the end of product liability (10 years).

 

6. Your rights

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection.
